Environmental Impact
At Banqueting Chairs Ireland we are very aware of the environmental impact of what we do, and we strive constantly to implement changes in our company to reduce this impact. Twenty years ago many of the Chairs used in the Hospitality and Recreational sectors were made from either Wood or Plastic.
Through the introduction of Aluminium and Steel as the raw material for these chairs we have almost eliminated the requirement for wood in many of our chairs. Add to this the adoption of technology that allows us to create a “wood-effect” wrap on these metal chairs that results in a finished product looking identical to the natural wood product!
This change has the obvious benefit of reducing the requirement of afforestation for the provision of our raw material.
Likewise we have eliminated 99% of the single-use Plastics used in the manufacture of our chairs with the obvious knock-on benefit to the environment. We also continue to replace plastic with cardboard in our packaging.
Chair Customisation/Upholstery Matching
We also offer our clients a Chair upholstery matching service in instances where it may be necessary to match an existing Fabric pattern or colour in order to maintain uniformity throughout a customer’s entire stock of chairs. Please note that minimum order quantities may apply.
