When Sinead and her team came to us for the new Dexcom Stadium in Galway, we knew this one deserved more than an off-the-shelf solution. Working alongside their UK-based interior designer, we designed a seating range that could match the scale and character of one of Ireland’s most anticipated new sporting venues.
Three chair types went into the project. The Chiavari chairs — lightweight at under 5 kg, stackable up to ten high, with a heavy-duty reinforced frame rated to 225kg — brought an elegance that works just as well in hospitality suites as it does at events. The stacking steel chairs, with their powder-coated frames, high-density foam seats, and double support bracing, were built for the harder-working areas of the venue. Practical, sturdy, and easy to store.
Sinead summed it up well: “The collaboration was seamless from start to finish — the chairs are exactly what we envisioned for the space.” Her designer agreed: “A great team result. The seating really complements the venue.”
An iconic location, a strong brief, and a team that knew what they wanted. That’s the kind of project that brings out the best in what we do.
